Honoured as Student of the Year at Bali Bisa Spa School, I was asked to record a short video about my professional journey.

I had just arrived in New Zealand and didn’t yet have a salon space, so I filmed it surrounded by the beauty of nature — the perfect reflection of where my path was leading.

In the video, I shared a glimpse of my career in beauty and wellness; my passion for skin health, my love for creating rituals of care, and my dream of building a space where people feel seen, nurtured, and restored.

Looking back, that little video feels like a beginning — a moment of stepping into a new chapter with Yophy Beauty here in Portobello.
